Jamie: Keep Cooking Family Favourites Season 1 Episode 5

Jamie Oliver pulls out all the stops with his `totally bonkers sausage and mash pie". It's not a pie with mash on the side, or even a pie with mash on the top - Jamie uses golden mashed potatoes instead of pastry to encase a beautiful leek, sausage and apple stew. Jamie also gives Britain's favourite takeaway, fish and chips, a home makeover that involves no deep-frying, making it both safer and healthier for the family. With help from his son Buddy, Jamie encases the fish in golden breadcrumbs that are shot through with smoky bacon, before serving it with smoked paprika potato wedges, mashed-up green veg and a light minty sauce.
