Kurokami The Animation: While fighting Excel and Steiner, Kuro and Keita are forced not only to use synchro, but also Kuro's Exceed if they are to have any hope of winning. However, the enemy has a few tricks of their own. When Keita's terra is drained by the battle the duo have to concede defeat. Afterwards, Steiner and Excel explain that they have been sent to track down the source of the balance disturbance that started seven years ago in Okinawa. What is more, it seems to involve Keita's mother or at least someone who looks like her. Ultimately, Keita and Kuro decide to head for Okinawa in search of the truth.
