Nodame cantabile: A foreigner visits Chiaki's school and becomes friends with Nodame. When Nodame brings him over to his house, Chiaki refuses to let him in because the man's such a pervert. It turns out the the man is Maestro Franz von Stresemann, a world famous conductor, and he's going to be the head of conducting department at the school. Chiaki, interested in learning from a pro, tries to change his majors but is denied over and over again. Apparently Stresemann is at odds with Chiaki's former "teacher," Vieira. Stesemann finally accepts Chiaki, but tells him to stay a piano major.
