The Virginian: Two wandering hobos arrive at Ev Clinchy's farm seeking food. They ask to buy a chicken but Mrs. Clinchy refuses and offers bread and molasses and tells them to leave. When she catches them stealing a chicken she sends her son into town to bring back her husband.
