When he gets a flat tire, the mechanic inspects every part of his car except the tire. The only motel he can find is a little shack too close to a railroad track. On the road once more, he gets stuck behind said trailer again only to pass it and discover no one is driving it.

After taking role call, Goofy tries to teach the class but keeps having to deal with a mischievous trouble-maker named George who enjoys sneaking out of class to go fishing, eating the teacher\'s apple, squeaking chalk, making faces while teacher gives a geography lesson, and terrorizing the other students with his water pistol. In the end, George\'s mischief goes too far when he destroys the school with an exploding bomb and is forced to write \"I will not bomb the school again\" 100 times!

Goofy is about to set up a hammock in the backyard of his penthouse apartment but is minus one tree. He immediately decides to get another one but he shows poor judgement in regards that the one he picks is unkowingly the home of a mountain lion. The lion returns to Goofy\'s penthouse to reclaim his tree, notices the hammock, and decides this is a much better source of relaxation than laying on a tree branch. Thus, he tries to remove Goofy from the hammock so he can relax himself and eventually a battle ensues.

The night promises to be a scary one. Lightning flashes. The wind howls. A tree branch in the shape of a hand seems to grab for a frightened owl that spins its head around like a top. The clock on the church tower strikes midnight, sending the bats flying out of the belfry. Two cats on gravestones fight by pulling and stretching each other's noses like taffy. A skeleton rises from behind a gravestone, frightening the fur off the cats. But an owl's hooting scares it, and it retaliates by throwing its skull and knocking the bird's feathers off. It's time for the skeletons to dance; and they perform as no living creatures could.

As usual, little Dinky Duck gets no cooperation as he goes about his usual rounds doing good deeds. He finds an orphan egg, and, unable to get anyone else to care for it, he takes it home with him. After it hatches, he feeds the young bird as it grows ever larger. Meanhile, back in the barnyard, a sneaky fox has captured all the farm animals and birds including, to the fox\'s delight, the succulent ducks and chewy chickens. But Dinky\'s bird, now a full-size eagle, comes to the rescue and, as a result, Dinky is acclaimed a hero.

Example: when Donald attempts to photograph a chorus line of hummingbirds, the Aracuan Bird interrupts the picture with a Russian kick dance. Donald becomes aggravated to the point where he gives chase but the bird always manages to outsmart Donald and make short work of his sanity.

After enough attempts to fish and spend the penny, Pluto has a newspaper to carry the same way. The wind has a nasty way to get a better grip on page after page then the dog, so by the time he delivers the daily dose of printed news it\'s an embarrassingly muddy mess...

Donald is working in his greenhouse when he notices a bee harvesting nectar (well, actually, it appears to already be honey). Donald tries various approaches to find the hive, which despite the bee's best efforts to throw him off, he eventually discovers in the radiator of an old car. He drains the honey and starts to leave when the bee spots him and mounts an attack. The bee adds a cactus needle to extend his stinger. Donald relents and returns the honey all but one jar, until the bee spots him.

The duck\'s eggs hatched: but the fifth hatchling, rather late, isn\'t like the rest, and momma chews poppa out. On top of all that, where the ducklings quack, the oddball honks. He also explores a nest of sparrows and a duck decoy, but there\'s no acceptance there, either (the decoy bonks him on the head like one of those drinking birds). But just when he\'s feeling worst, a family of swans comes by, and he\'s found his real family.
